Position Description

Territory Sales Manager

MedGyn Products, Inc. manufactures and distributes medical devices for the women’s healthcare industry. This includes high-quality medical equipment, instruments, and disposable products for Ob/Gyn professionals around the world. To succeed in this role, you must be a dynamic professional able to acquire new customers and manage relationships with existing accounts.

The Territory Sales Manager will maximize revenue potential by generating new business and incremental revenue. This is achieved through in-person visits (once the pandemic has concluded), outbound sales calls, and other referral sources. The Territory Sales Manager will also coordinate with the Marketing Department to develop campaigns for their region. This position will also focus on value-added services, compliance initiatives, and other revenue generating activities.

Responsibilities:

  • When it becomes possible, meet with physicians and other decision makers in the territory to establish and manage relationships and drive revenue opportunities.
  • Make outbound sales calls and receive inbound sales calls with the goal of generating new and driving existing business.
  • Become an expert in MedGyn’s innovative products and state-of-the-art medical equipment.
  • Effectively work with multiple teams including finance, marketing, collections, and customer service.
  • Utilize our CRM to organize activities, manage the sales pipeline, and report progress on a daily basis.
  • Assist and resolve customer requests and/or issues in a prompt and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher is preferred
  • Two or more years in medical device sales experience with a proven record of consistently achieving goals is highly desirable
  • Highly motivated self starter with the ability to focus on details with strong time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to deliver professional presentations to medical and senior management executives.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, CRM, etc.)
  • General knowledge of OSHA regulations is desirable

Compensation:

MedGyn offers a competitive compensation package including base salary and uncapped commissions. After probationary periods, we also offer PTO, a medical/dental/vision/life benefits plan with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and a 401K with company contributions.
